Industrial Design

A philosophy and a lifestyle as much as a trade or profession, design is a way of thinking and living. Design for a better tomorrow is both our motto and an aspirational statement for each day. Thinking and planing to improve the experience and quality of life is our fundamental goal at Eaton consolidated LLC. Here are some examples of completed design projects.

Driftwood Bench

The Driftwood bench was one of my first endeavors to take a concept for a very unique piece of furniture made from found and reclaimed materials. It was sourced from Lost Johnny Point and now resides in the home of a local developer.

Mid century modern desk

Mid Century Modern Desk

This desk was a pleasure to design and build. It was designed to make use of the view through the windows and to make functional space in an area otherwise functionally useless. The desk was a found piece. It was then modified and completely refinished. The book cases, arabescatus marble top, and pop up electrical outlets were all considered in the design consultation.

Reclaimed rustic king bed

Reclaimed Bridge Bed

This piece I built using beams recovered from an old collapsed bridge in Marion, Mt. The bridge was replaced but these had been too badly rotted on the ends to be reusable. The headboard was made from siding that came off a local contractors shop. It had been previously installed for over 35 years. The character this wood holds is really the showstopper to me in this piece.

Rustic Stone Bench

Made to replace a rotting wooden bench overlooking the Whitefish river on a peaceful 10 acre back of property hillside. A wide walking path connects the entire area. This is the first of 3 unique designs this client is commissioning for different areas of their path.

Rustic reclaimed bunk beds

Barnwood Bunk Beds

These beds still amaze me when I see them. They are made completely from material saved from job sites in the Ironhorse community, and designed to fit within fractions of an inch of a door opening and then lovingly hand distressed and finished. The only bought materials for this project were stain, screws, 2 sheets of pre finished plywood and the soft close drawer hardware. This was a complete kids bedroom set I was commissioned to design and build.

Kids loft barrier

Playful Loft Balustrade

Made as a playful way to separate a fun play space in a kids bedroom. These were designed and made to interact with light and spark imagination and playfulness. A ladder and a slide were originally considered and later incorporated into the design.
